Long live FlashForward
Entry Feed Trackback
Some of you may not have been aware that the word on the street lately has been that the FlashForward Conference was dead - meaning its owner Lynda Weinman wasn’t going to support it any longer. That really bummed me out as it has been my favorite conference since the very beginning. Luckily that rumour was only 1/2 true. Go here to read more.

Wow, I’m glad I heard it here first. (the source) I am determined to make it to one of those. Do you think you will again be a speaker at the next one? Do you know Beau Ambur? “Industrial strength coding”? eek, they sound powerful. ….then I went to their site and saw “BLOG”…. oh, their normal people. LOL. I hope the “take over” doesn’t leave you out. You are way to important to this industry with your creativity and knowledge. (unless you have so much on your plate that you really wouldn’t miss it this year) Thanks for the head’s up on the scoop.

We’ll have to see what happens - I met Beau at the FF in Austin a couple years ago - not sure if he remembers me or even knows who I am but I am sure Lynda will be passing along all her favorite FF speakers and contributers during this process - but in the end, if i get asked back I’d be very happy - the only thing is, the next FF is in August and that’s when we’re spending precious family time remotely. It takes an army to pull me away from where I’ll be at that time.

When will people be able to submit entries for this years festival?
Stephen Levinson at Mar 12, 08 at 3:36 pm
Stephen, that I do not know - I suspect it will be a little while from now.
