The Particulator!

No, this is not a Marvel character that Ironman must battle to save the planet, but it’s just as cool if you are a Flash designer. My friends over at New Pixel have developed yet another wicked-awesome extension for Flash appropriately named: Particulator. These guys are the brilliant developers who gave us the iK’ motion component that I blogged about way back when.
The particulator is easy to use and provides instant feedback with its simple slider controls. I’m having a lot of fun creating and simulating wind, fire and smoke while integrating these awesome effects into other animations. The coolest part about this component is, these effects are super slick and they would take me ages to create them as timeline-based effects. Even if I could, I don’t think they would look as good. I will post some sample animations soon but I highly recommend checking this component out and adding it to your Flash arsenal folks!
Thanks Chris, I just checked the extension’s web site and watched the examples, wow the butterflies and the particle text looks awesome!

I have tried the trial version, however i didn’t find the extensions so easy to use
… The examples look great, I keep thinking about that fire effect … I had to do a similar one about 3 weeks ago ..
Will try the extension again and put more effort and patience this time.

Wooah… I checked out the website just 2 minutes ago and have already thought of dozens of practical uses for this. Looks awesome (and it’s compatible with my ancient version of flash8) woo!

wow, this is awesome! I have been looking for something like this for a while. Now I don’t have to spend soooo much time creating these… so useful. Thanks
