I found that very interesting. I’m guessing I am feeling a little cheated now because it IS “DISNEY”. :P

Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks for the comments on my blog! modo is an interesting 3D program that is pretty affordable… the interface is really clean and relatively easy to learn. I have enjoyed it so far!

I like your character designs and animations — especially the hula girl! Great motion on that one…

You know, I’d seen a few videos like this and I wasn’t very surprised by it until this video. The thing that surprised me was the chase scene where they’re passing Mowgli around like the piece of paper. That whole scene seemed like something that would be written out and planned – with one guy taking it/him, running away, coming up to the sword/claws, running in the opposite direction, passing off the paper/kid, etc. That’s a scene as opposed to snippets of movements like clapping or “do-si-do”ing.

I mean it’s not so surprising that Disney worked off of their own templates. Animation has always cut corners and us that work in Flash are no strangers to that, but copying and entire scene was surprising… and equally surprising I didn’t catch it myself in the first place haha
